Florida Junior Tour Exemptions

The FJT STEP (Special Tournament Exemption Program) — is offered by the Florida Junior Tour (FJT) through the Red Hills Junior Tour to provide tournament exemptions to selecged players based on performance, sportsmanship and ability. The exemptions are awarded based on the following criteria:

  • Player must have played in 5 RHJT events during a season.
  • Player must be in top 25% of point standings in their respective age division.
  • Players must meet RHJT scoring performance requirements.
  • Must meet FJT age requirements (18 and under). If a player 12 or younger earns an FJT exemption they are not eligible to play on the Florida Junior Tour until they meet FJT age requirements.
  • Two STEP exemptions will be awarded at the discretion of the Director based on player’s sportsmanship and ability

Note to Players

The exemption will be added to the player’s FJT account (if they have one). If the player does not have an FJT account, the exemption will be added to their profile within 10 days after the player creates an account on www.FloridaJuniorTour.org. FJT exemptions appear on each player’s “FJT Player Profile” page.

Please Note:  FJT exemptions are not “free entries” and do not guarantee acceptance into an FJT event. Players must still be FJT members and submit their entries before the entry deadlines. Players must also meet all eligibility and FJT policies.
